Over 250 people attended the 8th annual e-Health Research Colloquium hosted by the AEHRC in Brisbane on 13 March.

The event was a great success as guests listened to talks from our keynote speakers, Prof Guy Maddern (“Health Technology Assessment and Comparative Effectiveness Research”) and Prof Geoffrey Donnan (“Advances in Stroke Research”).  An impressive line-up of speakers followed throughout the day and finished with an overview of some of the Centre’s collaborative research. Guests were also able to view various projects and demonstrations of the AEHRC during the breaks.

The event once again highlighted the vast number of opportunities available in healthcare, for information and communication technologies.  Thanks to all our speakers and guests who attended on the day and we look forward to hosting another successful event in 2013.
